It's great to work with different positions that can give you a fresh
take on things. Congratulations on a successful gamble while thinking
fast.
However, you lose me where you say mix(olydian) mode would be a Bb
harp. For the key of C, the F harp would have provided Mixolydian by
default, while the Bb would give you Dorian. OF course both scales can
be altered tomsehting other than that default.
