[Harp-L] Corn (was Sheet music to popular/easy melodies)
How about "corny"?
I am in a band that does traditional music, and there is a definite air of
condescension in the reaction of some to music that is not blues based.
Of course, it's all good, but it's mostly musicians who can appreciate that.
Nevertheless, I am quite happy with being able to play this non-blues stuff
on the harp--I do find that it's harder to do on a Richter tho.

Thank you one and all for your informative responses both on and off
list. Sorry I used the word "goofy" to describe traditional music.
No offense was intended. It was a careless use of the word and I
apologize if I offended anyone.
