[Harp-L] NHL Festival in UK this weekend

The National Harmonica League present their annual national festival
in Bristol at the Folk House, 40A Park Street for the seventh time.
H2006 is a full weekend of harmonica activities including, workshops,
contest, jam sessions, concerts, shops and trips down Memory Lane.
Special guests include the two excellent blues players: Steve Baker has a style both lyrical and expressive, drawing on the blues harmonica tradition and combining it with elements from country, folk, funk, soul and jazz to create a unique fusion.
Joe Filisko runs a harmonica school in Chicago and is an authority on the early country blues harp players and their playing styles.
From the world of the chromatic we have the star of the Last of the Summer Wine
theme music, Harry Pitch. Plus Carol Axford and Johnny Pluck, who will be accompanied by his son. Last and certainly not least is Philipe Achille who won the joint Youth World Championship at Trossingen in November 2005 and was awarded the Tabor Prize at the final of the BBC Young Musician, 2006..
It starts on Friday evening 27 October.
Saturday 28 October is the main day and the main Festival concert takes
place on Saturday evening. It has been sold out for the past vfour
years.
Sunday 29 October has special events for children as well as a full
programme for the members of the NHL.
There are full details on the festival website

We have bigger image files for use in magazines where required.
I also have an Acrobat (.pdf) version of the Festival Programme if it
would help.
