Friends, I know I've been AWOL recently on answering some emails and 
such, but I've just been harried a bit lately with 
"computer-printer-tenants-health-you name it" issues since returning from 
SPAH.  So, I'm trying to catch up a bit and move beyond even that!  For 
starters.....

Great News.
Blues great Curtis Salgado has a second chance. He is out of intensive 
care recuperating with his new, full, liver. He is at an Omaha hospital 
and is expected to stay a week, and stay in the area for a month for 
observation. The initial report was that Curtis and a friend who 
volunteered to give him half of her liver had traveled to Nebraska. While 
they were there Doctors reviewed Curtis' lab tests and upgraded him to 
being eligible to receive a full liver. On Saturday morning, a liver was 
donated, Saturday night the transplant operation was a success.
