[Harp-L] NY Blues and Nashville Benefit

      Well it's great to be home from Europe, but for all of you that think giggin' in NY is the best, forget about it!!!

      Tonite I had a Private Gig in NYC, I had to bring a PA, they provided a "Parking Voucher" for a nearby lot but I had to park on the street to unload first.

      I parked and pumped $3.00 of quarters into a municipal meter..... only to find a $115 ticket  upon returning 10 minutes later. (ONLY COMMERCIAL Vehicles were allowed at these meters! but the weren't to clear!...and then they were getting ready to tow me (that would have been another $250 but I talked them out of it which is a small miracle....

      Oh well the price of  workin' in The Big Apple!!!!....

      Anyway, I wanted to plug a benefit I've been asked to play at in NASHVILLE on November 1st........it's for a VERY reputable association for Cancer, AIDS and Lukemia Research. Details are below.....it's expensive but a GREAT cause!
