I find in order to practice well I need to have time before practice to
think about what I want to work on. I usually daydream about what to play
while I'm running.
I also noticed that if I look forward to practice, if I think of practice
as a way to reward myself after a day of drudgery I'm much more likely to
enjoy the practice session.
