I've got a danecho modded by Ron Holmes. He adds a buffer amp to the board
inside. It works great. I've A/B'd it next to the real deal tube Echoplex
and for short slap back effects you'd be hard pressed to tell the difference
from the vintage piece. However, today I prefer to go straight to the amp
most of the time.
