I acquired a Shure PE585 mic a while back. First, Is this mic adequate
for for use with a harp?
Next, it has about a 6' cable with a 1/4" plug on one end and the
other end is a coupling that screws onto the mic. The 6' cable is too
short but using 1/4" female to female adapter doesnt seem to be the
best solution. Will a SWITCHCRAFT 332A microphone connector give me a
1/4" jack at the base of the mic?
Finally, there is a switch on the mic itself that does not seem to do
anything. What is it supposed to do?
Thanks,
Paul
