it's been pointed out to me that the above may've come across as
harsh on mike. that certainly was not my intent. i fully understand
how difficult it must be to jump into the middle of a band like this, and
to hold your own in the midst of their insane road warrior schedule. and i,
as well as other harp-l folks, thought that mike managed this admirably well.
near as i could tell, everyone in the crowds both nights had a great time.
i certainly did.
my apologies, especially to mike, if my careless words left the wrong
impression. i didn't mean to cast any aspersions.
