indeed, shipping cd's makes no sense for the most part.  it'd be good,
however, to set up some kind of B&P arrnagement for folks that don't
have broadband.

i long ago gave up on the current compilation.  if it's salvageable, the
best solution would be to just get the files from scorcher and put it up
on a site somewhere.  there's plenty to choose from. assuming appropriate
permissions were gathered you could probably post it on archive.org.  not
the section that hosts live shows, but the main audio archives.
