I think some people try an alternate tuning for about 5 minutes (or less) and then reject it as
too confusing or alien to their old habits without giving the altered tuning a fair chance. Play
a Melody Maker or a Spiral Tuned harp or a Temptation harp an hour a day for a month and you might
find a whole lot of doors opening that you'd never discover in the first 5 minutes.
