It's second position, AND it's a Mixolydian mode, which is what you get
when you play a C major scale from G to G.  Using bent or overblown
notes in this situation doesn't change the basic fact that second
position puts you in a Mixolydian mode.

Using second position does put you into mixolydian mode - but, contrary to what you say above, only if you do NOT get extra notes by bending or overblowing. Any scale used on a diatonic harp can be modal only if the available unbent notes are used. The only exceptions to this would be bends to get the two notes missing from the diatonic scale of the harp's home key in the lowest octave and the one missing in the upper octave.
