I picked up an American made, tweed Pro Junior online. It sounds great unless I play any high runs. Then it not only sounds the pitch of the harmonica, but also a lower pitch resulting in an octave like effect. I hate it and want it fixed. The Fender forums I found had no information.
I have brought the amp in, but it doesn't make any extra noise with a guitar. We tried different tubes, cables, mics and harmonica brands, and it still made the noise with harp. The only other insturment the amp belches for is a keyboard, and that's what the tech is using to replicate the sound.
It is not tone cry. It happens on any key harmonica if I play higher then blow 6. It will do it whether I play lightly or really hard. Plugging into a different jack hasn't helped.
Any thoughts???? Thanks-
