Most of these pros are "endorsees" who get their harps directly from
the manufacturer, rather than from a retailer. Their price is
generally about the same as the wholesale price (the price paid by
retailers to buy inventory from the distributor).
Pros do, however, occasionally have an urgent need for a specific
harp that they don't have time to wait for from their manufacturer.
For those they -- like any of us who need a harp for an upcoming
gig -- will buy from wherever they can find it easily.
