[Harp-L] Rod Piazza's current diatonic harp choice(was MS)

When I saw Rod at Chans a few months back he was using Hering Vintage
1928's exclusively as his diatonic of choice. They sounded great of
course, and are Just-tuned, unlike the MS Hohners. I've bought a couple on
his recommendatin and really like them. Not sure if they can last as long
as my Lee Oskars though. My harp case, right now, has a few of everything
from LOs, Herings, Jimmy Gordon MBs, Special 20s, and Golden Melodies. The
only harp I can honestly say was a waste of money, and which I couldn't get
playing well despite working on the reeds, was a Pro Harp MS in A...

Hi ,
Pat Ramsey plays MS Blues Harps and Rod Pizza plays MS Big Rivers. Pat says
he can change reed plates between sets, if needed. Rod says he likes them
because they don't cost a furtune.---
