[Harp-L] Kim Wilson

Saw the T-Birds Friday night and spoke with Kim after the show for a couple of minutes.  He was playing through 2 Fender Deluxes, one sitting on the seat of a chair, and one sitting on the floor, both facing at the audience.  In the past he tilted a single amp back and played, but this time the two amps were on different levels but facing forward with no tilt.  Kim said that he was using the overdrive channels, "just a touch" to get to the tone  he wanted, along with the volume control.  Of course, it sounded great, but that is more the function of KW than the amp settings, I'm sure.  As always, he was extremely gracious with his time and comments.  Not only a great player but a nice all around guy.
