I don't have the Doggett recording, but I do have the
Gene Ammons recording from 12/47 (credited to Gene
Ammons and pianist Junior Mance), so I'd bet that this
is the first one of the bunch. Great tune, but yes,
very different. You can bet that Clarke made a nod to
Gene with the name of the song.
