i've got a little 72 silverface vibro champ..
love it. had it for about 11 years.
you can mic it up live and play with a band if they aren't too loud.
it shouldnt break up much.. just a warm, nice sound... good for clean 
playing
without being thin.
i use it mostly for recording now.. everyone i play with now is pretty loud.

let me know if you need to know  anything else..
i got mine for $175 @ a pawnshop just outside san diego.. kind of a steal.
