RE: [Harp-L] multiple Effects and tone
You have to use the pedals that have a true bypass or use an A/B box
to have a "straight thru" sound and Effects loop.
Sounding like other instruments is in the way you play. If you want
to sound like a guitar then you need to turn up your mids and bass
control. I also use a EQ box to enhance this. Then I think like a
guitarist... there have been times when I was playing and the
guitarist he was still making the sounds somehow... it's all in the
way you play.
Check out the EHX POG - I can dial in steel drums, sax and sitar like
sounds. Again playing like those instruments will make you sound
like that instrument. If you don't then you sound like a harp guy
with effects.
