[Harp-L] Blues (and other music) on chromatic at SPAH and Jason's Blowoff

Chris doesn't mention my segment in Jason's Blowoff, which will
involve a good deal of chromatic - and so will my SPAH show.

In the Blowoff one of my numbers will be  Ray Charles' Mary Ann, with
two chromatics (Dennis Gruenling and Allen Holmes) playing the
baritone and tenor sax parts, while I play the piano part on another
chromatic and Jason and Mike Peloquin cover alto and trumpet parts on
diatonic.

There is another number planned for the Blowoff involving at least one
chromatic, but I'm not at liberty to divulge the details yet. There
will also be a massed faceoff involving six diatonics in two groups of
three each, and one number on XB-40.

My own show will include chromatic on at least three tunes:
Saskatchewan Crossing, a version of which is posted at the buddha's
groove forum, played on a 64:

in addition a tribute to Douglas Tate played on a Renaissance, and a
waltz played on a Suzuki tremolo chromatic.

I think you'll find almost all of this to be different to what you
usually hear on chromatic, both from the harmonica band school and
from the blues camp.
