dorothy, had one for a while but went to a pro jr. however, if you lower the value of your pre-amp tubes the blues jr. should get you by. ditch the 12ax7's and try a combination of 12AT7's and 12AY7's. depending how hot your mic is, you may have to go to a 12AU7. i play primarily with an old 545 and i had to go lower. CAVEAT ! if you are not familiar with the inner workings of tube amps, please let a pro do the tube changes.
these tubes can hold LETHAL voltages even after the power has been disconnected for some time.
