A friend of mine had an MS marineband key of G that didn't work too well.
It turned out that it had a sticker over it's third draw reed.
It was a white sticker with an arrow and the text remove from here.

I think it might be coincidental, but the positioning of the sticker and the
exact fit
suggests that it was put on deliberately.
Does anybody have any thoughts on this?
I was just wondering why somebody would do this or if it was indeed
coincidence.

(the sticker was removed without difficulty :-) )
