Yesterday I taught a 10 year (supertalented) harpstudent how to blow bend on 
8-9-10....this worked within a few minutes forhim.
I told him a little about overblow on 6, said that is was almost the same as 
blwo bend 8 and he said: so ,should I do it like this and he played his 
first overblow.
!!!! Another thing that still amazes me is that when he has to play a lick 
that I play for him , he manages to have same "tone"as I have...incredible 
for such a small 10year old boy. Never heard someone do this before(I'm not 
saying that I have a big tone but that''s what others say to me)

So, starting with overblow by practicing blowbend will work!
