The 5V4 can be used anywhere that a 5Y3 was used. It has a slightly
lower internal impedence, so it will make the amp slightly louder and
punchier with a little extra attack. Examples of amps which could use
the 5V4: Champs, tweed Princetons, etc.

I was given a NOS Zenith 5V4 tube and was wondering if anyone out there
has any info/opinions on 5V4s in general.
