Funny you should ask because lately I've been working on Bouree.  It seems to 
lay out nicely in 3rd position. Lots of tricky bends  but no OBs so far. 
There are several musical pieces under the name Bouree  since it is a type of 
French dance music popular in the  1700's, but the Bach composition in Em that was 
covered by Jethro Tull on  the album "Stand Up" is the one I'm referring to. 
Yeah, Tull. It's not like I  know a lot about Bach. 
 
Another classical "simple tune" that can be played on diatonic is Ravel's  
Bolero. A great first position exercise. What makes both of these  pieces very 
good exercises for diatonic is that the bends have to be  spot on or they sound 
like crap. So they really can put your accuracy to  the test and are great 
practice workouts.
