Since the Promaster is assembled with screws, you could just take it 
apart and work on the reedplates separately, and not worry about 
getting tape all over the harp.  It's simple enough to smooth this 
with emory paper.  You can also polish the front edges of the reed 
plates with very fine steel wool (0000).  While you're in there, you 
could flatten the covers at the ends there the corner is molded to 
the side, so that the cover seals completely.  

Lots of things you can do to make this fine harp even better.
