I'm glad you mentioned that movie. On the one hand you 'could' say that 1900 bested Jelly, but on the other hand, WHAT did 1900 play? I heard something that sounded like what we have been talking about over years. I heard a flash bang string of hellaciously fast un- corelated notes, and I can't say it was very melodic. The part where 1900 lights a ciggie off of the strings is funny. Hammering strings with pads made from horse hair felt will not make them hot.

I found it intriguing that 1900 used that same word earlier in the movie when he was about 9. I didn't know the word till I was around 12-13, and I doubt that it someone born in 1900 would have heard it until they were 16.
