Re: [Harp-L] Amazing Grace Tab
Does anyone have tab for amazing grace on chromatic?>
Matt, I don't have tab, but you probably don't need it. "Amazing Grace" is
normally played in the key of G, and it is pentatonic. That means that the
only notes that you really need are G, A, B, D, and E which are all on a C
chromatic without using the slide. It starts on the 5th so you can start on
D and play it in the key of G without using the slide. It never goes below
that D that you start on so you can start on the 1 draw to get it as low as
you can, or the 5 draw to play an octave higher.
Oh well. I just noodled it out:
1 3+ 4 3+ 4 3 3+ 2+ 1 1 2+ 3+ 4 3+ 4 3 4 5 4 5 4 3+ 1 2+ 3+ 2+ 1 1 2+ 3+ 4
3+ 4 3 3+
You might change it a bit for whatever grace :0) notes that you like. Why
not try to noodle it out without using that tab? It's a good song to learn
to do that on.
Peace and music,
Dave
