Great tip, but the holes are a problem for those who are disinclined to 
alter the cab of an early Bassman head. Is the space for the 
tube/adaptors required only for insertion?  That is, is there enough 
room without the holes once the tubes are inserted?  If so- pull the 
chassis (pretty easy), insert tubes and reassemble.
