[Harp-L] The good, the good, and the good
I went and listened to Buddha's Groove last night; first time since
guitarist Victor Milianti joined the group. I can't describe just how good
they sounded without reverting to the richly colorful language of a Marine,
which might get me kicked off the list, so I'll just say - really good!
Chris is evolving, his woodshed must be under a Bodhi tree.
Chris was playing through a HarpGear amp. I'm impressed, that's a really
nice amp. Amazing actually, good sound and volume from a small, lightweight
amp. Very impressive.
For one number, Chris stepped off the stage and Dorothy "D" jumped up and
did a very mellow blues thing with the rest of the band. Way to go Dorothy!
Chris has invited me up on a number of occasions, but I don't feel ready to
share the stage with such talent at a gig. I am certainly inspired to work
harder at my playing now. I would like to do it before they go off into
international stardom and the chance is gone.
Peace and music,
Dave
