Another film featuring historical harmonica will be shown on the TCM
(Turner Classic Movies) channel on Feb 1, 2006 at 10:00am, EST. This one
is "Thousands Cheer" - a 1943 classic featuring Gene Kelly, Kathryn
Grayson and Judy Garland, but more importantly (for us fanatics), the
Harmonaires with Leo Diamond, brother Abe Diamond, and Richard Hayman,
in a musical scene on stage with the nightclub orchestra. Film runs 108
minutes.
