For any of you folks within striking distance of Elmsford, NY you should
make your way there on Feb 10th to check out one of the tastiest players
I've heard to date, Harp-L's own Sonny Jr. I was fortunate enough to
have a chance to listen to a live recording done in NYC where Sonny was
sharing the bill with James Cotton.  He blew the roof off the joint!!!
Given his years with Sonny Terry you'd expect him to have that stuff
down pretty good - and he does.  But he's much more than a Sonny Terry
clone. He's got all that and more, great chops, fresh ideas, beautiful
tone.  He's the real deal!!!!!
