With all due credit to Butter's later work I would rank "Paul Butterfield Blues Band" and "East West" among the all time greatest harp albums. The essence of Chicago blues on the first one and the more cross-culture (but still blues) approach on their second album makes this an unmatched couple in recording history. Besides Paul Butterfield's magnificent harp and vocals, Michael Bloomfield plays some awesome guitar on both of these gems.
