Having just listened to this new CD for the first time, here are my initial adjectives on this project:

Homespun
Americana
Honest
Direct
Twinkle in the Eye
Fun
 
 
This CD has a sound quality that puts Madcat in your living room acoustically (cloned, of course, as he plays all the instruments).
 
This CD will be enjoyed by young, very young, and old alike.
 
Madcat is a true troubador of traditional American music. 
 
Highly recommended.
