Re: [Harp-L] Re 'Chromatic Jump'
Hi
You'r right about the switch. Half way through, he plays a minute's worth of
diatonic in 2nd position, then back to the chrom. The cut on the CD is about
a half semitone off. I'm choosing that it's "sharp", so that makes the short
harp a G. George used to do that kind of switch quite often, too.
Cheers,
Jim

Subject: [Harp-L] Re 'Chromatic Jump'
Hi Harp-l,
on the subject of this tune, could anybody confirm my feeling that Bill
switches to short harp in the latter portion of the performance(maybe 3rd
on a c harp),or whether it is entirely chrom? Sometimes I find it
difficult to distinguish between the two sounds.
Thanks in advance and Happy New Year to all.
Sean.
