Dennis Gruenling will be a special guest joining Rob Paparozzi and
myself at the Grand Canyon Harmonica Seminar, Sep 1-5, at Grand Canyon,
Arizona. If you have ever wanted to add Chromatic to your arsenal, or
get better at the instrument, this should be one of the best harmonica
events of the season.
The approach will be simple; I will teach the fundamentals of the
Chromatic - scales, chords or arpeggios, reading, rhythm, corner
switching, etc and Rob Paparozzi will discuss how he has taken what I
taught him and added the chromatic to his playing, when he uses
diatonic and when he uses chromatic - that way you know the transition
is possible - I have introduced chromatic to Clint Hoover, Randy
Singer, Rob Paparozzi, Emile D'Amico, Sugar Blue, etc.
Then Dennis Gruenling will come at the Chromatic from the 3rd position
blues angle and how he took off from there so you get into the whole
Frank Clarke thing and beyond.
We have several players signed up already; it's $499.99, well $500,
it's at the Grand Canyon and it's an opportunity not to missed to come
away with knowledge and the skills on the Chromatic to last a lifetime.
Just ask the player that have studied with Rob and me already.
Call me at 917-445-5831 or 212-932-1239 if you have questions or wish
to sign up. A $100 refundable deposit will secure a place - you will
be responsible for your own local hotel, campsite, etc.
There will be a big Birthday Bash concert on Sep 6, 2006 with Rob,
Dennis, Bernard Purdie on drums, etc plus concerts over Labor Day
weekend at the Grand Canyon Music Festival.
Teaching goes from 10-12 then 2-4, then sunset at the GC then nightly
jams on both chromatic and diatonic.
Join us for the thrill of a lifetime at the Grand Canyon!!!!
Harmonically yours,
Robert Bonfiglio
