Hadn't played in two weeks is the tip off. Did you do
any warm-ups before hand ? Like any other physical
activity, even more so after a layoff, some pre-event
warmups will make for a better performance.
If you were a basketball player that played on a
regular basis and layed off for two weeks and then
came back and jumped right into a game without warming
up you would risk a higher probability of cramps or
injury. Just do some mouth stretches, tongue
gymnastics, and lip loosening and you should be
alright. Hope it fixes it for you.
