i've been watching a somewhat funny movie called "Held
Up" which stars Jamie Foxx and a few other people most
of you would probably recognize. anyway, there's a
scene in which John Cullum (Holling from "Northern
Exposure" is playing a diatonic harmonica. "Beautiful
Dreamer" to be exact. anyway, Jamie Foxx starts
singing a song i don't recognize, sounded Motown-ish,
and Cullum starts playing along. suddenly, for no
reason whatseoever, the harmonica track switches from
diatonic to chromatic! either that, or Holling
Vincouer is the most amazing overblower anyone has
never heard... ;)
