Actually there were 8 - two takes of each tune. TWo of the alternate
takes disappeared but all six surviving recordings were issued a few
years ago on the complete works of Django as issues by Frémeaux in
France. (Integrale Django Reinhardt, Vol. 8: 1938-1939)
Adler actaally played along with the alternate take of "I Got Rhythm"
during his concert at the 1995 SPAH festival.
