WOW!!!!! I have never heard Larry Adler play before - and obviously have
never seen him play. (He was gone before I got into playing/listening to
harmonicas.) Talk about tone and expressiveness! It looked like he was
either playing a violin (with the richest harmonica tone I've heard) or else
he was making love to that 12-hole chromatic! His hands shaped the music
like an Indian snake charmer mesmerizing a cobra. I ain't no snake, but I
was TOTALLY charmed, nonetheless!
It's a beautiful piece of music with outstanding artistic expression - don't
miss it!
