Not a single one of the Harmonica Concerti written for the chromatic
can be played on the diatonic. There are always trills, chords and
double stops that are not possible. These leaves aside the aesthetics,
which in my opinion, makes the diatonic the wrong axe for the Concerti.
Some could be transcribed for diatonic with greater or lesser degrees
of success. I love the diatonic, but it can not play everything. The
idea that it can could do more harm to the image of the diatonic than
good.
