Just a small piece of real life that I want to share. My youngest son is 14 and is a serious heavy metal drummer. He has always shunned harp and blues in particular. When he was over for Christmas he saw two Marine Bands and tried to play them and of course couldn't straight away. He wanted me to do something with the harps and was impressed with what kind of sounds comes out of the instrument and the progression of blues chords plus singing. Typically, the only thing my son knew of the blues was "I woke up this morning, my baby had gone, no money in my pockets, I'm Chicago bound". And that's what I played and sang, partly as a joke but he loved it.
