RE: [Harp-L] Dave Barrett
If you're talking about original book/cd, I think some of the harp
online stores like www.coast2coastmusic.com and www.harphouse.com still
have copies of it (with CD), maybe they'll sell cheap since it's been
superceded by the newer two-volume set that now has all of the audio
clips on CD (when they converted the original single version from tape
to CD it didn't all fit). The mel bay site might even still have it. I
like the book from this one since it had all the cool pictures of harp
players for inspiration :^)
If you're talking about volume 1 of the newer two volume set and maybe
you lost the book but have the CD, I'd send them an email and maybe
they'll send you a replacement book if you fax them a picture of the
original CD. This would be to prevent someone that might have a copied
or burned cd of the audio and want the book to go along with it, I'm
sure it happens a lot but I doubt anyone here on harp-l would be low
enough to rip off a fellow harp person trying to make a living. At the
low prices they charge for this high-quality educational material, it's
a steal as is!

Does anyone have the paperback version of Dave Barrett's Chicago Blues
Volume
1 that they would be willing to sell?
