Actually there are two Bach pieces involved. But it's not a "massive
quote" according to the detailed analyses I've read. It's strongly
influenced by the two Bach pieces, but both similarities and
differences are pointed out, and the degree of originality in the
Whiter Shad organ intro seems to ahve been strongly documented.
