[Harp-L] Compliments, subjective and objective

I enjoy connecting with people. When someone offers a compliment, it can mean many things. Sometimes it is someone enjoying being out and wanting to connect with the band.
  Instead of searching for a way to connect, it is easy to say,"you guys or gals sound great!"
  Some clubs I'd play at the audience was partying and drinking and I'd wonder how they would be able to tell the difference when it was becoming a trainwreck. If I am having fun and the audience is having fun it is great. When a skilled performer offers a compliment that is sincere, then I can appreciate it more. Otherwise, I prefer nice people over mean people.
