The reason I chose Paddy Richter in the first place was to
differentiate more clearly in a passage between the Bb and A which
are both bent notes on the 3 draw of a C diatonic in standard
tuning. Steve's Paddy scheme doesn't help in this regard. In
addition, with his tuning I still have an enharmonic G on the 2 draw
bent down a wholetone, but have to bend down four semitones to get
the F, which doesn't bode well for first flat, since that's the low
octave tonic. It's nice not having to overblow 2 for the Ab...
