RE: Steve Shaws altered paddy richter tuning was Re: [Harp-L] Re:	DannyBoy

Hi All
I tried Paddy Richter tuning for playing songs that need the 6th note
in the lower octave but found that because I used the three blow and not
the three draw when playing tunes that I had to relearn the
position of two notes, but if I tuned the three draw up a tone I only
needed to relearn the postition of one note. So it had that advantage, and
with the convenience of not taking the harp apart to retune the two blow
it's a very useful tuning for a couple of reasons
Of course I got the idea off Steve Shaw's website, so thanks Steve for
putting that idea out there.

Thanks Christopher. Just for clarity, it's the 3-blow up by a whole tone
for the standard Paddy Richter, and the 2-draw up a whole tone for the
alternative I use.
