Hi folks,
I've been sitting back reading all the varied opinions on how to dress
at gigs etc and thank my lucky starts that most, if not all of you, do
wear clothes to your gigs. I can't think of anything more distracting
than to turn up to a gig where the harmonica player is wearing but
only a pair of sun glasses on! LOL!!
Thank-you for all you tips, leads, links and fashion critiques, it's
been interesting and informing.
Those cool shirts can be found on daddyos.com. Great site for that '50's
retro look.

Thanks Dave, great link! I love that 50's retro look myself and find
great bargain items in second hand clothes shops.
Heres a picture of my friend Haggis, he ain't dressed to kill, but
then who am I to judge him by what he's wearing? He's the sweetest
guy, family man, great friend and when he plays harp he's a cross
between Jimi Hendrix, Little Walter and Adam Gussow.

For what it's worth I think the "dress up thing" is a cultural thing.
If you take a look at the other artists at this prominent Jazz and
Blues Festival in the Bay of Islands in New Zealand you'll see that
many of the musicians are dressed in jeans and have a casual feel.
This imo is very typical here in New Zealand. We jump at every chance
to dress down, even if it's a prominent Festival.
