Was listening to the Cosmic Hippo last week and never once did I think a 
note was "bad" (IMO). When you practice alone its one thing, but in the mix 
if played with authority, it usually works fine. People do not nit pick as 
much as the musicians. Of course trying to play a ballad like Toots may be 
out of the question. Then again on that same album Howard did a great job on 
Michelle which is a ballad.
