RE: [Harp-L] SPAH TV clip

John and Rick:

We have been actively working on a documentary about the harmonica and its players. We have filmed at several SPAHs and we have been to other conventions around the world, including a recent trip to Taiwan. We are entering post production and will definitely have a piece on SPAH. I hope that this film will satisfy your interests.

Of note, we have interviewed almost every major harmonica player alive including, but not limited to, Cham Ber Huang, Robert Bonfiglio, William Galison, Kim Wilson, Magic Dick, John Popper, Lee Oskar, Jerry Portnoy, Jason Ricci, Ron Papparozi, Mark Hummel, Mickey Raphael, Joe Filisko, Stan Harper, Howard Levy, Charlie Musslewhite, Huey Lewis, and Delbert McClinton to name a few.

Why not approach a film maker to produce a doco. on SPAH? I remember
seeing a programme on the harmonica industry/culture of Trossingen a
couple of years back on Australian SBS (Special Broadcasting Service)
here in Australia. Maybe Hohner and/or someone else might be interested
in giving the idea support/sponsorship. That way some of us without the
resources to make the trip might get to have a peek too.
Just a thought......
